1.
No one dared to show for that shower When nobody turned out to be clean Was not even touched by the water Just another Nazi scheme The Big Takeover All throughout this so called nation Prepare yourself for the final quest Your world is doomed with our interrogation Just another Nazi test The Big Takeover So understand me when I say There's no hope for the U.S.A. Your world is doomed with our interrogation Just another Nazi test The Big Takeover
2.
Well the people walk all around The thing on an island not very far from here They pay it homage like a god And they paint it on each and every year A sign for all it was given to us And we all appreciate this bomb The tourists don't know and never will It has no use it's meaning is gone The Statue of Liberty And for united we stand We all agree, it's a mystery But why'd they give it to us We still don't know just why it came A present from God or by the rain The crowds swarm wildly to see it's peak When I watch I go insane Why is it so important to them What is the beauty they see in it I don't know why I just accept it I don't want it, cause it makes me sick
3.
Maybellene, why can't you be true Oh Maybellene, why can't you be true You've started back doin' the things you used to do As I was motivatin' over the hill I saw Maybellene in a Coup de Ville A Cadillac arollin' on the open road Nothin' will outrun my V8 Ford The Cadillac doin' about ninety-five She's bumper to bumper, rollin' side by side The Cadillac pulled up ahead of the Ford The Ford got hot and wouldn't do no more It then got cloudy and started to rain I tooted my horn for a passin' lane The rainwater blowin' all under my hood I know that I was doin' my motor good The motor cooled down the heat went down And that's when I heard that highway sound The Cadillac asittin' like a ton of lead A hundred and ten half a mile ahead The Cadillac lookin' like it's sittin' still And I caught Maybellene at the top of the hill
4.
Languor rises reaching, to turn off the alarm And there's never so much seething That it can't be disarmed You just stop it up, Pass it on Shove it to shelf it, To leave it off and turnover Lounging against your weapons, Until your muscles find lock In the ease of that position, A residue of tremor passes As some cherie amour suggests That maybe it was time to smash things up But just stop it up, Pass it on Shove it to shelf it, To lead it on and turnover I'm only sleeping

about

We wanted to use our platform and our position as white artists to advocate support for the Black Lives Matter movement and to raise funds to make an impact in our community.

This EP was made as a benefit for the Amistad Center for Art and Culture in Hartford, Connecticut, housed in the historical Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. All proceeds from sales of the EP will be donated directly to the Amistad Center.

The Amistad Center is home to over 7,000 artifacts and works of art that document the lives of African Americans in the United States. Through preserving these artifacts, the museum hopes to correct misrepresentations of this important aspect of America’s evolution. Since Black music and culture is so influential to our music (and all rock music in general) we found this a fitting cause to support.
